Our story
It started with the places, not the product
Escappa began as a travel and hospitality brand. Our work was, and still is, about authentic travel experiences: the farm where breakfast depends on what is ripe, the old family house with the good verandah, the host who knows which trail is worth the early start. Places that could only exist where they are, run by people who chose to run them.
Spending time inside those businesses teaches you something uncomfortable. The hosts who create the most memorable stays are often the ones with the least control over how they get booked. They pour themselves into a house and then hand a quarter of every night to a platform, wait weeks to be paid, and never learn the phone number of the guest who cried at the door on the way out.
We kept meeting hosts who had tried to fix it. Someone had paid a freelancer for a website that broke. Someone had a beautiful Instagram and no way to take a booking from it. Someone had a booking form that went to an inbox nobody checked. The tools existed, but they were built for people with an IT budget, and priced accordingly.
So we built Traxn. Not as a side project, but as the thing our own industry needed: a way for a family with four rooms to have a proper website, take a real booking with a real deposit, and keep the guest afterwards. No technical skills needed, because the people who need it most do not have them and should not have to.
Escappa Concept LLP is the entity that signs the contracts. Escappa is the brand that answers your email. Traxn is what we make.
